Jay-Jay has been on Evitex for almost a year now and I am very happy with the results. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a horse that has Cushing’s. I have owned Jay-Jay since 2009, for the first two years things were great, then in spring of 2011 Jay-Jay was having a problem shedding his winter coat. I had to have him clipped. He was also grumpy, drinking and urinating a lot. That is when I had the vet come out. She said he had the beginning signs of Cushing’s, but did not want to put him on any meds at that time because of the side effects. By fall of 2011 things were getting worse. Jay-Jays skin was so itchy and flaky and it was driving him crazy. He was itching so much that he was pulling his hair out and pushing the fence down from itching. His winter coat was so thick and long it made him look fat, but he really was not! In spring of 2012 I had Jay-Jay clipped again. Had it done two times that year, it just kept growing back so fast. Also got two abscesses that year, had fat deposits on neck and even grumpier! By the time fall came I knew I had to do something for my boy and fast. That’s when I found your website. So glad I made that phone call! It changed everything! I started Jay-Jay on Evitex January 24, 2013. I started to see a difference in three or four weeks, not so grumpy. My sweet boy is coming back! But we had a long way to go, it didn’t happen overnight and it was not going to be all better overnight. In spring of 2013 Jay-Jay began to shed his winter coat, the hair started coming out in clumps. When he was done shedding he only had two small tufts of hair that did not come out, so I just clipped those two spots. No more excessive drinking, no itching and flaky skin and no fat deposits. As you can see from the before and after pictures, he is my very handsome 24 year old Arabian again! Also put him on the Ultimate on May 15, 2013 because he had some stiffness in his back legs, its working great. Still had some problems with his feet, so I put him on Formula 4 Feet. The white line disease is gone and less abscesses. I think it’s just going to take a little more time, he improves every day; it’s only been about six months.
