Thank You Emerald Valley

Emerald Valley Equine and Amanda, I want to thank you for introducing me to Speedi-Beet. Last spring I started all of my horses on Speedi-Beet in hopes of increasing their hydration and cutting down on colic symptoms that each of our horses had experienced the previous 2 springs and falls. I spent an enormous amount in vet bills, 1 of our horses spent 5 days in the hospital with unexplained colic symptoms, all they did was hydrate her, watch her and send her home. They thought 2 of our horses might have ulcers, the first one I treated, when they said the second one had ulcers. I had him scoped, no ulcers. I had at least 3 vets out trying to find out what the problem was, none of them had any idea, they looked at our hay, we talked in great details about their feeding schedule, work habits, barn routine. None of our horses ever showed any symptoms of being dehydrated, but I did notice that some days they would not drink a lot and I knew I had to do something about that. Being a boarding facility and having teenagers work for me, regular beet pulp scared me. I loved the fact that Speedi-Beet expanded in 5-10 minutes. We soak our Speedi-Beet in about a 1 8 ratio, to give them as much water as possible and the horses love it! We feed it am & pm year round.
